My second "eye portrait", in which my right eye looks completely different than at other times.

Taken with a think strip of lights through the string opening on closed blinds - dusk in the summertime.

wonderful shot, what you were going for worked, I would have maybe taken some semi see through cloth and placed it where the sun was, so it was less harsh on the camera and you captured the shapes on your face, the wonderful crevices that make the face so interesting to look at. Also if you wanted your eyeball to be lit up well maybe you could try puncturing a hole so just your pupil is strongly lit?
